REIV Auction Snapshot

A clearance rate of 71 per cent was recorded this week compared to 78 per cent last week and 80 per cent this same week last year.

There were 284 auctions reported to the REIV, with 201 selling and 83 being passed in, 28 of those on a vendor bid.

Auction activity ramps up in the City of Hobsons Bay with more than 70 per cent more homes sold in 2024 so far compared to the same period last year.

Altona North leads with 57 auction sales, more than doubling its sales in the first five months of 2023.
