REIV market snapshot – July 12, 2018

A clearance rate of 62 per cent was recorded Saturday July 7, 2018 over the weekend compared to 64 per cent last week and 76 per cent the same week last year.

There were 441 auctions reported to the REIV, with 272 selling and 169 being passed in, 78 of those on a vendor bid.

More than 3,500 homes went into auction last month, the highest number ever recorded for the month of June.

McCartney Real Estate sold 72 Fischer Street Torquay at auction for $800,000.
