REIV market snapshot – July 19, 2018

A CLEARANCE rate of 62 per cent was recorded over the weekend compared to 62 per cent last weekend and 77 per cent the same week last year.

There were 400 auctions reported to the REIV, with 246 selling and 154 being passed in, 60 of those on a vendor bid.

20,000 homes have gone to auction this year, led by Craigieburn and Reservoir with more than 300 auctions in each.

Stockdale & Leggo Drysdale sold 36 Blanche Street in St Leonards for $591,000 at auction.
