Surf Coast property shines
February has proven to be a stellar month for property sales according to Hayden Real Estate principal Bryan Hayden, with record sales and record prices.
The average price has once again risen as shown by Hayden’s average sale price for February increasing to over $2,000,000.
“Good weather, a shortage of stock, particularly vacant land, and continued low interest rates have been the catalyst for locals and visitors alike jumping into the coastal market,” Mr Hayden said.
“With some of the best beaches in the state, towns with improving transport links, all lend encouragement to both families and retirees alike to make the Surf Coast their preferred home.”
Mr Hayden said February is normally a buoyant month however this year was one of the best on record.
“With an average of more than seven people attending each of our open for inspections throughout the month of February, there are still a lot of buyers out there seeking to purchase property across the Surf Coast.”
