Transform your space with modular building
FROM backyard home offices, teenager retreats and creative studios, to fully self-contained second dwellings and modular home extensions, the local team at ComfyPod delivers a tailored solution to suit every lifestyle and space.
The custom modular builder is transforming the way people go about adding extra space to their homes and commercial fit-outs.
A business born during COVID, ComfyPod has become a popular solution for people looking to add extra space or renovate, without the hefty price tag and months of construction works.
ComfyPod construction manager Jack Pammenter said one of the biggest driving factors for the business is its ability to build the pods in a controlled environment before delivering to customers.
“We can basically build anything here, if it will fit in the back of a truck, we build it to completion and then deliver it.

“Instead of having a builder on-site for a certain time, we can build it here, turn up, deliver it, we’re in and out within a couple of days.”
A recent revamp to the business means a fresh suite of designs and technologies are available to customers, with a strong focus on sustainability.
Despite recent regulations enforcing a higher energy rating requirement, ComfyPod ensures all their builds are suited to meet a seven-star rating.
“The way that they’re insulated, the way we’ve designed them, the way we seal them up, we try to make them as energy efficient as possible,” Mr Pammenter said.
“The moment you do have one, it’s not a cold space, they’re nice and warm, they’re comfortable to be working in.”
The pods are also fully customisable, with clients able to pick exactly where they want their features and what they want the space to look like.
“You can create exactly what you want, if you can show us a picture, we can do it, or we can work with you and design it together.

“We design in house where we can produce a virtual 3D model of your project, so you can see exactly what it looks like from start to finish.
“It gives clients straight away an understanding of the process.
“We’re a small team, but our approach is highly personalised – every client receives individual attention and a tailored experience from start to finish.”
Clients also receive photos at every step of the build, keeping them up to date with what stage they are up to.
ComfyPod prides themselves on working closely with local suppliers, sourcing the majority of their materials from within Geelong.
