Zeally Sands Crystal Release sold out at auction

THE much-awaited auction of 12 lots in the popular Zeally Sands development at Torquay saw close to 200 people attend last Thursday’s auction at The Sands function centre.

Stage 16A of the Crystal Release consists of a diverse range of lot sizes from 456sqm to 693sqm and attracted a lot of pre-auction enquiry from both local and outside interests.

With the auction conducted by Hayden Real Estate, director Patrick Hayden said that with the good interest and strong bidding, they were able to sell all lots on the evening with an average selling price of $400,333 per lot.

“The highest price was $464,000 with the lowest price lot selling for a very affordable $362,000,” Mr Hayden said.

“We were delighted with the attendance and the results on the night; it confirms to us how popular the Zeally Sands Estate is with buyers.

“Many of the lots were sold to those already living in the estate looking to build again.”
