Easter fun at Waurn Ponds
Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre is set to deliver some eggstreme Easter fun over the upcoming school holiday period, that will have the kids feeling very Hip Hop Hooray!
Kicking off with Club Easter from April 11-14 , the centre court outside Target will be transformed into a rainbow haven featuring a craft centre with colouring-in and Easter basket stations, ‘Hip Hoppy’ dance sessions and interactive movement.
Your little bunnies can have their faces painted, indulge in ‘furry floss’ and create their own whimsical bunny food to leave out for Mr. Bunny, with a pick and mix-style cart and rainbow label design.
The following week from April 19-22 will see local favourite The Messy Patch offer sensory play activities over eight stations for kids to explore.
This will include a rainbow creation station, donut and cupcake decorating, and open-ended creativity opportunities for all budding artists and visionaries. Prepare to get messy in the name of Easter fun!
All of these exciting activities will take place from 10am-1pm with daily appearances from the Easter bunny.
Activities are free however, through its ongoing commitment to the local community, Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre is seeking a gold coin donation for the donut and cupcake decorating in support of the Barwon Health Foundation Kids Appeal. This important initiative is raising funds for a brand-new rehabilitation centre for Geelong children and young adults with complex care needs.t
So hop on down to Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre for all your Easter and retail needs, stay for these epic activities for the kids, and support an important community cause.
