Stunning fairways, fine food and beautiful views: Anglesea Golf Club

December 15, 2021 BY

Anglesea Golf Club provides a warm and friendly experience for all visitors.

Anglesea Golf Club is set in the beautiful hinterland of the Great Ocean Road only 30 minutes from Geelong.

Not only is the course itself challenging and enjoyable for both seasoned professionals and beginners, but golfers and visitors can share the beauty of the course with the resident population of approximately 300 eastern grey kangaroos that inhabit its environs.

Kangaroos graze around the course at all times of day but especially in the evenings. Hosting guided Kangaroo Tours since 2016, the club attracts visitors from all over the world. Drivers of 14-seat electric vehicles take you throughout the picturesque golf course, sharing facts and stopping to disembark for photos. You’ll get up close to these amazing marsupials and you might even see a baby “Joey”.

Book on the website and please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Kangaroo tours take 25 minutes and run during school holidays 11.30am – 3pm. Starting back December 18.

Everyone is welcome at the Clubhouse Bistro and Bar which opens daily from 11am serving coffee, snacks, lunch and dinner. The Bistro is a fine dining restaurant that sits comfortably between traditional pub food and a five-star dining experience.

Pre-bookings for dinner are recommended at the popular 19th Hole Bistro. Email [email protected] or call 5263 3434.

The 18-hole mini-golf course is popular for birthday parties, special groups or visitors. You can book in at the Pro-Shop.
