ON Wednesday August 8 the Men played Par. The Men’s A Grade Winner was David Calvert with +1 while Hayden Smith finished runner-up with square. The B Grade winner was Scott Downey with the day’s best score of +5 from runner-up Graham Rees who scored +3. Tony Norman won C Grade with square. Des Clark finished runner-up with -1 on a countback. Ball rundown to square on a countback. NTPs: 3rd Graeme Callahan, 6th Garry Beurteaux, 13th Rob Steven and Jackpot 16th Mark Hannan.

On Thursday August 9 the Women played an Aggregate Stableford – teams of 3. The Winners were Jan Bucholtz, Irena Karpala and Beatrice Stephens with a team score of 92 points. Irena starred with 39 individual points. The runners-up were Sue Britnell, Ann Stokes and Nancye Warhurst with a score of 91 points. Ball rundown to 88 points. NTPs: 3rd Jo Murray, 6th Ro Lockyer, Jackpot 13th Ros Holland and 16th Lorraine Elliott.

On Saturday August 11 the Men and Women played Par. The Men’s A Grade Winner was Greg Davis with +4. The B Grade winner was David Hitchcock with +2 on a countback. David Picken won C Grade with +2. Ball rundown to +1 on a countback. The Women’s Winner was Maryanne Frauenfelder with +2. Ball rundown to +2. NTPs: 3rd Kevin Friel, 6th Peter Frauenfelder, 13th Stuart Leigh, and Jackpot 16th Greg Davis.

On Sunday August 12 a Men’s and Women’s Stableford event was played. The Men’s Winner was Pete Griffiths with 40 points. Ball rundown to 38 points on a countback. The Women’s winner was Robin Adamson with 33 points. Ball rundown to 33 points. NTPs: 3rd Ro Lockyer, 6th David Calvert, 13th David Adamson and Jackpot 16th Ro Lockyer.
