STAR big man George Blagojevic is the third player to commit to chasing a championship with Geelong United in 2024 NBL1 season.

Blagojevic joins captain DeMarcus Gatlin and experienced forward Owen Odigie in putting pen to paper on a new deal.

In 2023, the former Cairns NBL player and Australian underage representative average 22.5 points and a team high 12 rebounds in just under 35 minutes a game.

Blagojevic posted a double-double (double-digit scoring in two categories) in 13 of his 19 games.

Blagojevic averaged 22.5 points and a team high 12 rebounds in season 2023.

Geelong United Basketball general manager of pathways Megan Moody said Blagojevic was key to the team’s success in 2024.

“We see George as a key part of our push to return to finals action in 2024.

“For someone coming off the injury he suffered [in 2022], George had a really strong 2023 season.

“We’re looking forward to seeing him take his game to another level next year.”

Blagojevic is spending the Australian summer in the Serbian League with Dynamic VP.

After three matches, he is averaging 9.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists.
