BARWON Heads will look to continue their win streak as they take on Barrabool in Round 3 of the BPCA A1 Grade.
The Seagulls look to be every chance to go one better after losing the Grand Final last season, thanks to impressive wins over Jan Juc and Anglesea to start their campaign.
Meanwhile, Barrabool went down to Drysdale in Round 2 and will search for their second win of the year.
Jan Juc will host Inverleigh at Bob Pettitt Reserve in what shapes to be a mouthwatering clash. The Kookaburras knocked off reigning premiers Armstrong Creek last weekend in a solid performance, while Jan Juc posted 210 runs in their win over Queenscliff.
Anglesea and Drysdale will face off at Ellimatta Reserve, both with a 1-1 record so far. The Roos were well beaten by Barwon Heads in their last match, but the Hawks needed just 27 overs to chase down and beat Barrabool.
Queenscliff’s pursuit for their first victory does not get any easier as they travel to face Armstrong Creek.
The Titans sit second despite losing last weekend, and will look to bounce back after a disappointing performance. Queenscliff simply must find a way to beat the reigning premiers to avoid a disastrous start to the season.
In the A2 grade, each side enters round three with a 1-1 record, indicating the tight competition. St Leonards will host Collendina, Winchelsea will host Newcomb, Portarlington will take on Ocean Grove, while Wallington will face Surf Coast.
