Chargers enjoy success at season launch

SURFCOAST Chargers launched their Big V season on Saturday with three wins from four games against Southern Peninsula Sharks at Wurdi Baierr Stadium.

Tomorrow (Saturday, March 29), the men take on Melton away at 8pm and the women face RMIT University away at 5pm.

The youth league women play Chelsea away at 5pm before the youth league men battle Chelsea at 7pm.

The youth league women will also host Wallan on March 30 at 11.30am.

Youth league women: Chargers def Sharks 69-44

Youth league men: Chargers lost to Sharks 87-86

Senior women: Chargers def Sharks 88-59

Senior men: Rohan Jarvie 22 pts, 8 rebounds, Dexter Graham 19 pts, 10 rebounds
