OUR women had success at the Ocean Grove Open last week with Wendy Tottenham winning the Gross with 80.

The net winner was Gill Morrison with 74. And to cap that all off Elaine Cass, Denise Kelly and Gill Morrison combined to win the O. G. Bowl with 236.

Round of the Week – Jimmy McCowan with a huge 46 points on countback from Terry Bourke.

Tuesday December 5; Women 9 Hole Stableford: 36 Players (Front 9) – Grace MacNeill-Wallis won on countback with 21 from Karen Egan and Rosalie Fraser.

Wednesday December 6: Men Stableford and round three of Eric Dohnt Award: Blue Tees – 140

Players: A Grade – Robert Ryan (10) won by 2 with 43 from Tony Lugsdin (9) 41 countback. Jimmy McCowan (19) won B Grade by five with a blistering 46 on countback from Terry Bourke (19). C Grade went to Geoff Stribley (27) with 39 from Jamie Sim (20), 38 countback.

Green Tees: Four Players – Ross Shimmen (25) was best with 46.

Thursday December 7: Women: 59 Players – Karen Egan (20) won A Grade on countback with a handy round of 40 from Margie Black (12) and Kathleen Cummings (21). B Grade went to Kaye Kelly (30) with the round of the day 42, with Janice Chapman (32) next best with 38.
