This year, for the first time the event is open to both Men and Women.

Round of the Week – Hayden Butterworth with a scorching 47 on Sunday.

Eagles: Hayden Butterworth on the 14th on Sunday; Doug Parkin on the 1st on Wednesday.

Sunday December 31: Mixed Stableford: 26 Players – Hayden Butterworth (12) proved that last Sunday’s 46 points was no fluke by going one better with 47. Next best was Jarrod Leonard (16) on 40.

Monday January 1: Happy New Year to all. Tuesday January 2: Women 9 Hole Stableford – 37 Players. Gail Casey shone to score 23 and win by 3 from Carmel Hughes.

Wednesday January 3: Men Stableford: – 182 Players: A Grade – Rick Lowe (10) 39 countback from Jackson Ristevski (7). B Grade – Matthew Remyn (16) 41 on countback from Michael Hutley (13).

C Grade – Ron Acreman (20) 38 on countback from Bernie Drew (18). D Grade – Aidan Burns (33) 42 and Round of the Day with Phil Humphries (23) one behind with 41.

NTP: 4th – Tim Singleton, 8th – Denis Breuer, 13th – Rick Lowe, 17th – Scott Herne, Golden Shot on 17th – Peter Bray ($171).

Thursday January 4: – Women Stableford: 61 Players: A Grade – Lorraine Wright (21) 39; Margie Black (12). B Grade: Marie Allen (25) 37; Jean Plummer (45) 35.

NTP: 8th – Pam Roberts, 17th – Gael Charman. Golden Shot on 17th – Gael Charman ($50).

Saturday January 6: Men Stableford – The hot temperatures saw our heat policy in action again, hence the reduced number of members being able to play. Only 15 golfers had completed their rounds before the temperature hit 36.

Players: 15 Grade – Tim Singleton (8) needed a countback to separate him from Michael Maaser (15) with both recording fine scores of 41.
