PORTARLINGTON Football Netball Club has announced it has appointed Darren Findlay to be its senior coach for the next three seasons in the Bellarine Football League.

Findlay is a highly experienced senior coach and footy administrator.

He replaces Warren Findlayson, who coached at the Demons for two years.

Findlay joins Portarlington as the next stage of a career that has included stints as a reserves player for the Western Bulldogs and the North Melbourne Bulldogs in the AFL, a reserves coach at Werribee and a premiership coach at Point Cook in the Western Region Football League.

In other footy news, Nathan Storer will be senior assistant coach for 2025-26, and Cheyne Kelly and Ryan Shaw have been reappointed Under 18 coaches for 2025.

On the netball side of the Demons, Jarryd Anton has been appointed A Grade coach and club coach for 2025-26.

Portarlington will hold a “meet the coaches day” in the near future.
