Entries open for Victorian Inclusive Championship
ENTRIES are now open for the second Victorian Inclusive Championship, set to be held in Barwon Heads.
The two-round golf event will be co-hosted by Barwon Heads Golf Club and the 13th Beach Golf Links.
The competition marks the first World Ranking for Golfers With Disability (WR4GD) event of the 2020 season.
It will take place on February 3-4, a few days before the Vic Open, which will be held on 13th Beach Golf Links from February 6-9.
The event is open to all impairment categories in the World Rankings for Golfers with Disability.
In November, Barwon Heads Golf Club held a “Stand Up and Play” charity golf day in collaboration with genU. The money raised from the day went to the purchase of a ParaGolfer, which is an all-terrain wheelchair that allows people with spinal cord injuries to stand upright while playing golf. The club raised more than $50,000.
Entries for the Victorian Inclusive Championship are scheduled to be open until the end of January with only 40 places available.
