The local sporting body released the schedule for the coming season this evening (Thursday, December 19).

A mouth-watering clash between 2024 football grand finalists Torquay and Anglesea is set for ANZAC Day (April 25).

The two sides will face off for the first time on the public holiday and will join Drysdale and Portarlington in playing on the historic day.

Geelong Amateur will need to wait until Round 7 (May 24) to get its chance at knocking off back-to-back A Grade premiers Ocean Grove.

Ocean Grove defeated Geelong Amateur in this year’s decider by five points, following the Ammos going undefeated through the regular season.
