Mondays and Saturdays at Anglesea continue to attract members and visitors to social bowling competitions despite some chilly conditions.

Congratulations to recent winners: Sam Grima, Rick Sheehan, Reg Costin, Corrie Hooivelt, Ben Coyle, Pauline Andrewartha, George Schulze, John Archer, Martin Hooivelt, Harry Wendt, Dot Hermann, Hazel Price, Sue Rolls, Tim Jenkinson, Max Wellins, Trish Ryan, Theo Reyntjes, Dick McDonald, Judy McKay, John Mayne and John Koster.

Anglesea club members have been notified that their electronic tag for clubroom access is ready to pick up, and that Friday afternoons starting at 4.30 to 5.30 is the best time to collect them.

Members need to advise selectors if they are available for Pennant during the forthcoming season which starts in October. Anglesea will be entering an extra side in both the Saturday and Tuesday Pennant competitions to accommodate a growing membership.

The new clubrooms at Anglesea have already seen various community and private functions and are available for bookings, with catering available. The club’s telephone system has been upgraded and callers can leave messages which are checked regularly.

Businesses are reminded that our 2018/19 Fixture Book is now being planned, and the opportunity for exposure to a wide audience is available to sponsors and advertisers.

BOWLS SCHEDULE
Anyone wanting to try bowls is most welcome to contact the Club.

Regular Bowls: Mondays (12.30pm) and Saturdays (12.30pm). Match is open for entries on the day until 11.00am by noticeboard entry, phone or email.

Casual Bowls: Open for members anytime; public bookings welcome.

Friday Social: Afternoon Roll-up. Happy Hour and raffle from 5pm.
