GDFL season preview

ACTION in the Geelong District Football and Netball League (GDFNL) begins this weekend.

All 12 clubs will start tomorrow (Saturday, April 5), and byes are allocated for the Easter (April 19 and April 20) and King’s Birthday (June 7 to June 9) weekends.

Here are the ins and outs for the league’s senior footy sides ahead of the 2025 season start:

Anakie
