Local program kicking goals

THE NAB Auskick program has been kicking goals for the Armstrong Creek community this year with over 60 budding AFL stars getting involved.

Proudly sponsored by Warralily, the NAB Auskick Centre for Armstrong Creek and Mount Duneed has brought together kids and families in the new community to help build friendships along with footy skills.

The sessions are led by local residents Brenton and Nick who have big plans for AFL in Armstrong Creek.

“Next year we plan to hold Auskick at the new sports precinct currently under construction, including two sports ovals and a purpose-built sports pavilion, which will hopefully be the new home ground for the Armstrong Creek AFL Football Club,” Brenton said.
