SURFING Victoria has announced Fagg’s Mitre 10 and Belmont Timber will be the presenting partner for the WorkSafe Tradies Challenge next month.

Surfing Victoria chief executive officer Adam Robertson said he was excited to have such a wellrespected company involved in the event, to be held at Jan Juc.

“They are one of the largest timber and hardware business in the Geelong region and a fantastic compliment to the event. We look forward to having them involved for many years to come.”

Fagg’s Mitre 10 and Belmont Timber general manager Andrew Pitman said his company was happy to get behind such a unique event that supported the company’s core business across the Bellarine and Surf Coast.

“Trade and surfing go hand in glove. So that’s why we’re happy to partner with Worksafe and bring this competition to life.

“Faggs Mitre 10 and Belmont Timber want to reach out to all our trade customers and encourage them to participate and enjoy this local event.

“We want the tradie challenge to succeed and become a permanent fixture on the tradie calendar.

That’s why I’d like to see as many of our customers competing as possible. It will be a fantastic day.”
