Prespakis earns second All-Australian blazer
GEELONG young gun Georgie Prespakis has added another accolade to her rising career, securing her second AFLW All-Australian blazer at the W Awards on Monday this week.
Following another stellar season in the long sleeves with the Cats, Prespakis was selected on the interchange bench in the 2025 side.
The 22-year-old has been recognised on a number of levels for her strong campaign, having won her second club Best and Fairest Award last week and also being selected in the AFLPA’s 2Under22 team for the fifth straight season.
Prespakis was a shining light in an otherwise disappointing year for the Cats that saw them once again miss out on finals.
Her consistency through the midfield saw her average career-highs in disposals per game (25.8), clearances (6.8), inside 50s (4.8), contested possessions (14.6) and score involvements (4.8).
North Melbourne’s Jasmine Garner was named captain of the All-Australian side, with Melbourne’s Kate Hore named vice-captain.
