ST MARY’S will host South Barwon at Anthony Costa Oval this weekend in what will be another finals-defining clash in the GFL seniors.

The Saints sit fourth by only 2 per cent behind Colac and a win will keep them one game clear of the fifth-placed Bell Park.

Meanwhile, the Swans sit just two points outside of the top five and must win to keep their finals hopes alive.

South Barwon have had the wood over St Mary’s in recent seasons, with the Swans prevailing by nine points when they faced off in Round 9.

Elsewhere, Bell Park will look to continue their red-hot form as they take on North Shore at Windsor Park.

The Dragons just hung on to upset Colac last weekend by a point, making it four wins from their past five matches. More impressively, three of those wins came against fellow finals hopefuls.

Leopold, whose three-peat chances are becoming unlikely, will travel to take on Grovedale. The Lions will need to win and rely on St Mary’s to beat South Barwon to keep the door to the finals ajar.

Colac will host Geelong West at Central Reserve, coming off their tight defeat at Hi Sushi Oval. The Giants will take some confidence into the matchup following a valiant effort against St Albans where they lost by just five points.

The winless Lara will take on the second-placed St Josephs at Bisinella Oval, while the improved St Albans host ladder leaders Newtown & Chilwell.
