Tim Sanderson took out Coach of the Year in Division 1 Women.

Sanderson said he was humbled to receive the accolade on September 2.

“I feel like receiving the award was recognition, not just for me, but for whole group, I always feel the coaching awards are dependent on the group you have,” Sanderson said.

Piper Copeland was awarded Defensive Player of the Year in Youth League 2 Women and was named in the All Star Five side.

“You can always put in place a system and set up mechanisms as a side, but if you don’t have the right players, the right group, and right people around you, you won’t be able to put yourselves in a position to succeed.

“I’m proud of the work this side has done this season, and where we were able to get to.”

Summer Field joined teammate Piper Copeland in the All Star Five squad in Youth League 2.

Youth League Two Women’s coach David Smith was named Coach of the Year, helping lead captain Piper Copeland and Summer Field to respective All Star Five nominations.
