Times change for BNFL Grand Finals, GFNL Second Semis

AFL BARWON has brought forward the start times for the BFNL Grand Finals and GNFL to avoid clashing with the Geelong Cats’ first game in this year’s AFL finals.

Earlier this afternoon (Friday, August 26), the governing body for footy in the Geelong region announced “some minor adjustments” to footy start times on September 3.

“In a bid to allow our community the opportunity to watch the Geelong Cats take on Collingwood in the AFL Qualifying Final, all football game times have been brought forward across the BFNL and GFNL matches,” AFL Barwon stated.

The change of game times only applies to footy matches on September 3. Netball match times will remain unchanged.

Bellarine Football Netball League Grand Final Times:

• 8.45am – Under 18 Division 2 Grand Final
• 11am – Reserves Grand Final
• 1.30pm – Seniors Grand Final

Geelong Football Netball League Semi-Final Times:

• 9.15am – Under 18 Division 1 Second Semi-Final
• 11.15am – Reserves Second Semi-Final
• 1.30pm – Seniors Second Semi- Final
