TUESDAY June 19: A field of 68 ladies participated in the Annual Community Services Day. Again, money was raised for a great cause.

We saw some amazing home made products sold at the stall, well done girls. Trudy Bath, Michele Hayes, Lesley Thornton and Monica Hingston had a fun time racking up the winning score in the Irish Fourball Stableford event to top off an eventful day.

Don Forsyth who has been bragging about the Magpies, not only won D Grade but also defeated Gary Taylor on count back for the John Pettigrove Trophy. The final of the Clive Martella Singles Match Play Knockout was also played on Friday between good friends Barry Hewitt and Dean Pearce. Dean was the eventual winner with a hot streak late in his round, securing the title 4 and 3.
