WSL and Seven Network continue partnership

THE World Surf League (WSL) and Seven Network will extend their free-to-air broadcast partnership for a fifth consecutive year in 2024.

The partnership extension will see all WSL Championship Tour events – including the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach – the WSL Finals and the Bells Beach Longboard Classic all broadcast live on 7 and 7plus.

Surf fans will also be able to watch all the Australian WSL Challenger Series events and hours of WSL content on demand.

WSL Australia/Pacific president Andrew Stark said he was thrilled to continue the partnership with the Seven Network.

Seeing WSL events alongside all of the other sports on Seven’s programming is fantastic, not to mention the cross-promotional opportunities on offer when working with the home of sport in Australia.”

Seven Melbourne head of network sport and managing director Lewis Martin said surfing was part of the fabric of Australian culture.

Seven’s coverage of the WSL will start on January 29, when the world’s best hit the breaks of Hawaii for the Pipe Pro.
