INTERNATIONAL Women’s Day is a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the remarkable women who drive achievement, foster growth and shape the culture of McCartney Real Estate every day.
Across all departments, McCartney’s female staff demonstrate commitment, expertise and resilience, playing an integral role in delivering exceptional service to their clients and the broader community.
Within the sales department, Kirsty Pertzel, developments and commercial manager, has been a driving force in land and property sales in Torquay for the past five years. Her extensive market insight, positive demeanour and steadfast dedication to her clients have earned her a trusted and respected standing within the industry.
Working alongside her is Lucy Blackwood, a licensed estate agent, whose empathy and strong community focus have enabled her to build meaningful client relationships and deliver impressive sales results throughout Torquay, Jan Juc and the surrounding areas over the past four years.
McCartney’s newest team member, sales executive Krystin Trewin, has already shown tremendous initiative, with refined communication and negotiation skills that have quickly made her a valued contributor to the company.
Supporting leadership and operations, Kim Harrison-Riley has served as executive assistant to director Tim Carson for an impressive ten years. Her loyalty, organisational capability and comprehensive knowledge of the business make her a vital foundation of McCartney’s ongoing success.
Maddie Jennings has also been a fantastic addition in her role as sales and advertising consultant. Her dedication and coordination ensure smooth day-to-day operations for McCartney’s sales agents and her contribution is greatly valued.
The property management division is led by Karen Skerke, whose 11-year tenure as department head reflects her strong leadership, industry expertise and unwavering commitment to her team, rental providers and renters.
Alongside her are three of the best senior property managers you’ll find on the Surf Coast: Angela Hill, respected for her professionalism and calm, solutions-focused approach; Bec Hart, known for her industry knowledge, attention to detail and proactive communication; and Jacky Johnson, valued for her reliability, skill and dedication to excellence.
Supporting the team is leasing manager Livi Carson, who has already made a positive impact with her energy, initiative and strong communication skills.
Val Luther-Bernau is known for her structured approach, disciplined processes and attentive oversight of front-of-house operations.
The business would also not be where it is today without accounts manager Christine Phillips. With nearly 26 years at McCartney Real Estate, her steadfast dedication, procedural expertise and compliance knowledge provide stability and continuity across the organisation.
McCartney also proudly acknowledge Briana Eyles, sales agent, and Milly Turner, leasing manager, who are currently on maternity leave. Each has contributed more than five years of service and their journeys reinforce the importance of supporting women through every stage of life, both personally and professionally.
Strong organisations create environments where women can succeed both professionally and personally, and the business proudly celebrates the contribution and influence of all the women of McCartney Real Estate – today and always.
