FARM My School will host regenerative farming pioneer and educator Dan Kittredge next month, for the local launch of a world-first masterclass aimed at empowering the community with the knowledge they need to produce nutrient-dense crops.<\/p>\n

The two-part certificate-level masterclass in nutrient-dense food production \u2013 that is, crops with superior nutritional content and natural resilience \u2013 will be held across two seasons, with the first part of the course taking place on April 16 and April 17.<\/p>\n

Based in the United States, Kittredge has more than 30 years’ experience as an organic farmer and is the founder of the Bionutrient Food Association, a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to “increase quality in the food supply”.<\/p>\n

He has gained widespread recognition throughout his career as a leader in soil science and nutrient density, and has helped communities understand how nutrient-dense foods can prevent chronic disease and enhance overall wellbeing.<\/p>\n

“I’ve spent decades working to show how food systems can nourish both the land and the people who rely on it,” Kittredge said.<\/p>\n

“When plants are nourished with complete and balanced nutrition, they become naturally more resistant to disease and pests, leading to higher productivity and improved profitability.<\/p>\n

“This masterclass is designed to give participants the tools to foster regenerative food systems that benefit farmers and the planet alike.”<\/p>\n

Striving to improve food quality, while also boosting productivity and profitability of food producers, the course will cover a wide range of topics including practices for creating a culture of harmony with nature; understanding and balancing minerals for optimal crop production; and plant life cycles and their parallels to animals.<\/p>\n

Masterclass participants will receive ongoing support to ensure they are fully equipped to apply the principles learned during the course, and on completion, will receive an accreditation that recognises their capacity to produce nutrient-dense food.<\/p>\n
