This winter on Mount Hotham, Alpine Nature Experience will offer a truly unique experience: spending an exclusive and adventurous night in the snow.<\/p>\n
Founder Jean-Francois Rupp will take you on an evening snowshoe adventure through the snow gums to reach his hidden eco-village and central tipi, before sharing some French cooking tips and assisting guests prepare their own French cheese fondue.<\/p>\n
Building on its successful first year, this season Alpine Nature Experience will extend its offering to include exclusive accommodation in the snow.<\/p>\n
Jean-Fran\u00e7ois has spent several months working with local designers, timber engineers and upholsterers to conceive a
\ntruly unique product.<\/p>\n
His eco-domes are sustainably built with\u00a0 one idea in mind: simplicity is a luxury.<\/p>\n
After a heart-warming fondue in the tipi, guests will be able to spend the night looking at the stars through a sky view from the comfort of a cosy bed with a lingering glow from an internal fireplace.<\/p>\n
Overnight guests will have the added\u00a0comfort of a scenic Skimobile ride back to Wire Plain. Alpine Nature Experience will also be looking to offer packages to enable customers to extend their stay and indulge in spa treatments and local brewery tours.<\/p>\n
His hidden eco-village will welcome two eco-domes this year for up to four people
\nper dome.<\/p>\n
Hailing from the heart of the French Alps, Jean-Francois has always wanted to encourage others to discover the beauty of
\nthe mountains and experience the snow.<\/p>\n
Since relocating to Australia in late 2014, he has been looking for the chance to share his passion for the outdoors and alpine activities.<\/p>\n
Jean-Francois hopes to attract first timers to the snow, families, seminars and school groups.<\/p>\n
Collaborating with Snow Stuff Park, Hoys Skis, local restaurants and suppliers, Alpine Nature Experience has received a warm welcome from resort management and local businesses who are keen to see their customers catered for in a new way.<\/p>\n
Alpine Nature Experience will operate from Friday June 15.<\/p>\n
