GEELONG Cats coach Chris Scott said his side won’t be dwelling too long on last Friday’s loss to the Brisbane Lions.<\/p>\n
The Cats went down by 41 points in Patrick Dangerfield’s 350th AFL match, unable to wrestle the momentum in key moments of the game.<\/p>\n
Brisbane led at every change throughout the match, with forwards Logan Morris, Cam Rayner and Kai Lohmann getting off the chain for the visitors.<\/p>\n
For Geelong, Jeremy Cameron kicked four goals, while Bailey Smith, Max Holmes and Tom Atkins also put in their best efforts.<\/p>\n
“We played a really good team and they were sharp and we were the opposite,” Cats coach Chris Scott said.<\/p>\n
“We thought we were getting enough chances to be competitive, but it just felt like one of those nights where, I sort of said this to the players, what could go wrong did go wrong.<\/p>\n
“That happens, it happens to the best teams.<\/p>\n
“Moving forward you sit back and think okay, we are 10-5 going into the bye, we have got opportunity. I don’t think we will be dwelling on this one for too long.”<\/p>\n
