The second-placed Eagles had an unexpected loss against the eighth-placed Werribee Centrals in Round 14, and now must win to hang on to the double chance. They are now only percentage above North Geelong.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the Lions won controversially against Bell Post Hill – a decision later overturned by the league – and now sit atop the ladder by one game.<\/p>\n
The two last faced off in Round 4, when Belmont hung on to win by seven points in a tight matchup.<\/p>\n
Thomson and Bell Post Hill will face off in another crucial clash. The Tigers were upset by Anakie in Round 14 and are now fourth.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, after the Panthers’ loss to Belmont, they now must win to remain in check with the top five, as they are just percentage behind the fifth-placed Inverleigh.<\/p>\n
The fifth-placed Hawks will host Werribee Centrals tomorrow, coming off an upset against third-placed North Geelong. A win can solidify their finals spot in the finals, but the Centrals will be confident after defeating East Geelong.<\/p>\n
Anakie can keep its slim top five hopes alive as it hosts 10th-placed Winchelsea.<\/p>\n
Corio will take on the Magpies, who are looking to get back on track after two losses from their past three games.<\/p>\n
