THE Royal Children’s Hospital is in the final days of its hunt for the faces of next year’s Good Friday Appeal.<\/p>\n

These mini ambassadors share their stories and experiences from the Royal Children’s Hospital in the hopes that it will help inspire the community to donate, fundraise or volunteer.<\/p>\n

Torquay Good Friday Appeal volunteer area manager Peter McMahon said the children will have the opportunity to spread awareness about their treatment and raise funds for services across the state.<\/p>\n

“The Good Friday appeal is now looking for local children with a special story to tell to be 2026 mini-ambassadors.<\/p>\n

“These patients will help to spread inspiration and hope as we head into our 95th year to ask the community to help support sick kids and their families.”<\/p>\n

The Good Friday Appeal is the largest fundraising initiative for the hospital, and raises funds to continue providing world-class care, ground-breaking research, equipment and care programs.<\/p>\n

As part of being a face of the appeal, children and their parents are required to share their story, photos and videos of treatment, be involved in photo shoots, attend the appeal launch event and more.<\/p>\n

People who are chosen for the campaign will be supported with a range of opportunities including media training, images and videos taken, support from past faces and their families and one-of-a-kind experiences.<\/p>\n
