{"id":110698,"date":"2025-10-06T10:31:46","date_gmt":"2025-10-05T23:31:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/news\/films-and-flavours-at-the-gordons-feast-and-flicks\/"},"modified":"2025-10-06T10:31:46","modified_gmt":"2025-10-05T23:31:46","slug":"films-and-flavours-at-the-gordons-feast-and-flicks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/news\/films-and-flavours-at-the-gordons-feast-and-flicks\/","title":{"rendered":"Films and flavours at The Gordon\u2019s Feast and Flicks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THE Gordon\u2019s city campus will come to life this Saturday (October 11) with a foodie-themed festival, Feast and Flicks in the Courtyard.<\/p>\n<p>Outdoor screenings of <em>Wonka <\/em>and <em>No Reservations<\/em>, alongside delicious food from hospitality students will fill the night, while the campus\u2019 historic buildings create the perfect backdrop for an outdoor cinema.<\/p>\n<p>Among the offerings are classic movie treats, including popcorn and ice-creams, with hot and cold food also available, including The Gordon\u2019s popular paella and a beverages from its fully licenced bar.<\/p>\n<p>The Gordon\u2019s director of engagement and partnerships Carley Brennan said the event is about more than just great food and film, it showcases students and brings the community together.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGuests can settle into deck chairs or bean bags under the stars, and if the weather is cool, we encourage everyone to bring along a blanket to stay cosy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s going to be a special night of food, film and connection right here in the heart of Geelong.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event aims to highlight The Gordon\u2019s roles in education, creativity and connection while showcasing the institute as a destination for learning.<\/p>\n<p>Feast and Flicks is being delivered by The Gordon, in partnership with the City of Greater Geelong\u2019s ROAM Festival.<\/p>\n<p><em>Wonka <\/em>will play at 4pm and 6pm, with <em>No Reservations <\/em>beginning at 8pm.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, head to <a href=\"http:\/\/thegordon.edu.au\"><strong>thegordon.edu.au<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>THE Gordon\u2019s city campus will come to life this Saturday (October 11) with a foodie-themed festival, Feast and Flicks in the Courtyard.
