Andrea is the face behind Yarn Me Calm, a bright, fun and welcoming yarn store in Portarlington on the stunning Bellarine Peninsula.<\/p>\n
With a background in youth work, developmental trauma and family therapy, Andrea has always been passionate about healing and connection. Combining that with her love of yarn felt natural \u2014 both are about creating warmth, patience and comfort.<\/p>\n
Yarn has been Andrea’s therapy for a long time. She finds peace and joy in her yarn stash \u2014 touching, admiring and imagining.<\/p>\n
Sometimes she doesn’t even need to pick up a hook; just feeling the fibre is enough to restore calm. That’s the magic she wanted Yarn Me Calm to share, a place where people feel seen, supported and inspired.<\/p>\n

Andrea is also a passionate designer, crocheter and proud committee member of the National Crochet Guild Australia, the local agricultural show as well as the coming Geelong and Bellarine Yarn Show.<\/p>\n
