ROUND 6 of BPCA1 looms as a league-shaping double weekend, with multiple clashes set to shake up the ladder.<\/p>\n

The competition\u2019s Round 5 day two action was abandoned last weekend due to inclement weather, with clubs turning their attention to Round 6.<\/p>\n

Barwon Heads will look to remain undefeated<\/a> as they host Jan Juc, who appeared to be saved by the rain last weekend.<\/p>\n

The Sharks were bowled all out for just 119 by the struggling Queenscliff in day one and, barring a miracle, would have been handed their third loss of the season.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Heads are yet to be seriously challenged so far this season in their pursuit to go one better than last season\u2019s grand final loss.<\/p>\n

Queenscliff will hope to continue a strong run of form after starting the season 0-3, when they host the second-placed Anglesea. Whilst last weekend\u2019s rain worked against Queenscliff\u2019s favour, the Roos faced a run target of 239 against Barwon Heads last weekend and may have been saved by the wet conditions.<\/p>\n

Third-placed Drysdale will host fifth-placed Armstrong Creek<\/a>, with the winner likely to be in the top four by the round\u2019s conclusion.<\/p>\n

Inverleigh will host Barrabool in a bottom of the ladder clash. The winner will move to 2-3 and remain in finals contention, while the loser will drop to 1-4 and sit well behind the rest of the competition as the season\u2019s halfway point nears.<\/p>\n

In BPCA2, Surf Coast will host St Leonards, Ocean Grove will host Winchelsea, Collendina will host Wallington and Portarlington will host Newcomb. Winchelsea sit atop the ladder at 4-1<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
