THE Anglesea Golf Club has been selected to participate in the 2026 AGF Junior Girls Scholarship Program, giving young female golfers a golden development opportunity.<\/p>\n

The nationwide scholarship is offered to girls aged 9-16, designed to support and develop their golf skills, confidence and overall passion for the game.<\/p>\n

Each recipient of the scholarship will receive a full year of support at no cost, which includes a one-year junior membership at the Club, 24 hours of structured professional coaching from a PGA professional and official merchandise.<\/p>\n

Anglesea Golf Club general manager Chris Mandas said the initiative was important and valuable in expanding opportunities for girls in sport.<\/p>\n

“This program provides an incredible opportunity for young girls to engage with the sport, build their skills, and become part of a supportive golfing community.<\/p>\n

“We are excited to help nurture the next generation of female golfers.”<\/p>\n

Families and young golfers interested in applying for next year’s scholarship are encouraged to register their interest and submit an application by December 19.<\/p>\n
