THE northern Bellarine’s artists will be putting their best works forward in the 2026 instalment of a popular event.<\/p>\n

The North Bellarine Arts Trail is one of the peninsula’s cultural highlights of the year, and this time will take in 29 venues and more than 70 artists showcasing their talents in Curlewis, Clifton Springs, Drysdale, Wallington, Bellarine, Portarlington, St Leonards and Indented Head over a weekend in March.<\/p>\n

Those who explore the trail will encounter a range of artforms and techniques from painting and sculpture to wood turning and glass work, and are invited to chat with the artists and share your thoughts about inspiration and the love of art.<\/p>\n

Many artists will offer demonstrations, and the festival will continue its collaboration with Portarlington’s Celtic Festival musicians, who will be playing at selected venues throughout the weekend.<\/p>\n

“We are so grateful to our sponsors as their commitment ensures that we can continue the event, to our artists who share their work so willingly, and to the public who give us such encouragement,” Bellarine Peninsula Arts secretary Renae Chapman said.<\/p>\n

“Here’s to a weekend full of creativity, art and adventure. See you along the trail.”<\/p>\n

Booklets introducing the artists, along with maps, can be picked up at most of the Bellarine’s tourist information outlets.<\/p>\n

The North Bellarine Arts Trail will take place on March 28 and March 29 from 10am to 4pm.<\/p>\n
