THE new drainage works and wetland area between the 14th and 15th fairways is looking fantastic, thanks to the work of Darren Pohl and the crew. Can\u2019t wait to see the improvements to the fairway bunkers between the same holes!<\/p>\n
Also, a big congratulations to 136 of our brave members who battled away on Saturday in our annual US Open 2 man ambrose event. Play off the back markers, high winds, thick rough and some tough pin placements allowed our members to get an appreciation for how tough some of the pros are doing it at Shinnecock Hills!<\/p>\n
Congratulations \u2013 Wendy Tottenham and Lynne Perree combined very well to win the Jean Russell Salver at Torquay RACV. 136 Pennant players competed in this event with Wendy and Lynne scoring 75 nett 69.7. Well Done Ladies!<\/p>\n
