MORE than 15 surfers from the Surf Coast and Bellarine are set to represent the region with pride at the 2026 Victorian Longboard Titles this weekend.<\/p>\n

The event on Phillip Island will see the state’s best longboards surfers take to the water for ultimate bragging rights and a spot in the Bells Beach Longboard Classic.<\/p>\n

Competitors will feature in age groups from Under 18 Boys and Girls to Over 70 Men and Women.<\/p>\n

Among those to be suiting up include reigning open state champions Ben Considine and Bea Conroy, multiple time Australian champion Greg Brown and Rory Reyntjes.<\/p>\n

Surfing Victoria chief executive officer Adam Robertson wished competitors luck in the Round 1 of the series.<\/p>\n

“Phillip Island provides an incredible stage to launch the series, with its diverse and high-quality waves offering the perfect test for our state’s top talent. It’s always exciting to see competitors rise to the challenge in such an iconic location,” Surfing Victoria chief executive officer Adam Robertson said.<\/p>\n

Our pathway from the State Titles through to the WSL Bells Beach Longboard Classic remains a cornerstone of longboarding in Victoria, and it all begins this weekend on Phillip Island.<\/p>\n
