A combined $40 million from state and federal governments is driving the project, with the city contributing up to $300,000.<\/p>\n
Corangamite federal member Libby Coker said the expanded centre would make a tangible difference for\u00a0local families.<\/p>\n
“This is a legacy project that, together, we have fought for,” she said.<\/p>\n
“Stage two includes so many amazing facilities, from a gym and cafe to the 25-metre pool and, importantly, the learn to swim pool \u2013 it’ll be great for families, older people, and so many people across the North Bellarine.”<\/p>\n
