A woman has died following a house fire in Geelong\u2019s northern suburbs.<\/p>\n
Emergency services were called to a block of units on Thompson Road in Norlane at about 3am after reports of a fire.<\/p>\n
Firefighters brought the blaze under control before finding an unresponsive woman inside one of the properties.<\/p>\n
She was treated at the scene but could not be revived.<\/p>\n
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, with detectives from the arson and explosive squad investigating.<\/p>\n
Police are appealing for anyone who has information, witnessed the incident or has footage from the area to come forward.<\/p>\n
