Photo: World Surf League.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s such an amazing location,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I had a swim before my set, it was amazing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve played a lot of car parks but nothing like this at the beach at the top of a hill looking over this view.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Spiderbait followed with a tight, energetic set, rolling through Black Betty, Buy Me a Pony and Shazam, keeping the crowd moving from start to finish.<\/p>\n<p>Led by Janet English on vocals and drummer Kram, the alternative rockers showed exactly why they are regarded as one of Australia\u2019s very best.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 403px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/04\/660475201_1547676480_84603.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"403\" height=\"504\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Several hundred people attended the performance. Photo: World Surf League.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>English said the Bells Beach backdrop only added to the experience.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat a spot, this place is incredible,\u201d she said of the venue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are so thrilled people still want to see us.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are so keen to watch the surfing action.
