GEELONG-BASED business SC Technology Group has extended its long-running partnership with the Geelong Cats, with the new agreement taking the relationship through to 2032.<\/p>\n
The six-year extension builds on more than 12 years working together, with SC Technology Group continuing to support the club’s operations with print and document solutions.<\/p>\n
“It’s something we’re really proud of,” director Jeremy Williams said.<\/p>\n
“We’ve been working with the Cats for a long time now. It’s not about big moments. It’s about doing the job properly year after year and building trust over time.”<\/p>\n
The partnership sees SC Technology Group supporting the club’s day-to-day operations behind the scenes, helping ensure things run smoothly across both corporate and football departments.<\/p>\n
While the Cats partnership remains a key part of the business, SC Technology Group has also evolved over recent years as client needs have changed.<\/p>\n
The group has expanded its IT capability through universal computer solutions, moving further into managed IT services, cyber security, cloud platforms and broader technology support.<\/p>\n
“We’ve seen technology become central to how businesses operate,” Williams said.<\/p>\n
“Systems, security and data all need to work together. It’s no longer just one piece of the puzzle.”<\/p>\n
That change has led the business to broaden its offering, allowing it to support clients across multiple areas rather than just print.<\/p>\n
“A lot of our clients don’t want multiple providers,” Williams said.<\/p>\n
“They want one group they can trust to look after everything and keep it running properly.”<\/p>\n
The company has continued to grow its team across Geelong and Ballarat as part of that expansion, with a focus on hiring locally and building long-term capability within the region.<\/p>\n
“There are great people locally,” Williams said.<\/p>\n
“We’re always meeting people, even when we don’t have a role immediately available. It means when we do grow, we have the right people ready.”<\/p>\n
Alongside its business growth, SC Technology Group remains active in the local community through partnerships, support initiatives and working with other regional organisations.<\/p>\n
“Being based here, we want to contribute where we can,” Williams said.<\/p>\n
Looking ahead, the focus for the business remains consistent.<\/p>\n
