Photo: Glenn Barry.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Barwon Heads community turned out in force for the family event, with more than 250 volunteers helping bring the day to life, including parents, local businesses, performers and community groups.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/04\/Scrambler_58495.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"383\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Carnival rides were also a big hit. Photo: Glenn Barry.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Community stalls were a highlight, with more than 100 homemade baked goods sold, $900 worth of wetsuits finding new homes and more than 60 jars of produce sold from the school garden.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/04\/IMG_4121_58470.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"850\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">About 400 sticks of fairy floss were consumed by festivalgoers.
