{"id":118828,"date":"2026-04-10T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-09T18:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/?p=118828"},"modified":"2026-04-08T15:28:56","modified_gmt":"2026-04-08T05:28:56","slug":"new-home-bigger-game-for-drummond","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bellarinetimes\/news\/new-home-bigger-game-for-drummond\/","title":{"rendered":"New home, bigger game for Drummond"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>GEELONG&#8217;S largest golf retailer is now even bigger than ever before.<\/p>\n<p>Drummond Golf Geelong has relocated from Moorabool Street to 8-12 Pakington Street, Geelong West.<\/p>\n<p>The business, which has been in Geelong for 30 years, has more than doubled in size to cater for the increased demand for the sport in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Drummond Golf Geelong franchisee owner Loren Bunting said the move has allowed the business to offer even more to their customers.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/04\/Drummond1_71867.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Customers will be able to walk in and try products without having to book in advance.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Golf has become hugely popular,&#8221; Bunting said. &#8220;We needed to upscale to keep up with demand. We needed more stock and more room.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We grew the business to a point where it wasn&#8217;t sustainable to be there anymore; it didn&#8217;t offer what Geelong needed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The biggest change people will see is the five simulators, rather than two.
