STREAMLINE Media is on the search for young budding actors who have a love for and want to protect their bay.<\/p>\n
As part of the \u2018Connecting your Bay\u2019 Project, the award-winning production company is searching for four \u201cBay Stars\u201d to feature in their suite of educational short films that will be distributed throughout Victorian schools and the wider Port Phillip Bay community.<\/p>\n
The films will document the Bay\u2019s ecological assets and identify management priority areas, as well as highlight the important roles environmental groups and the broader community can play in safeguarding the bay\u2019s future.<\/p>\n
Streamline Media director Jarrod Boord said the films produced in partnership with numerous organisations would engage, inform and empower the Bay community to become actively involved at a grass roots level to build stronger connections and greater awareness and appreciation of the bay.<\/p>\n
Children aged between 6 and 13 years are invited to submit a short 30 second or less video telling they why they love Port Phillip Bay and showcasing their natural inner \u2018stardom\u2019.<\/p>\n
Production manager Leia Howes said the initiative was a great opportunity for enthusiastic youngsters to play an important role in protecting their bay into the future and to work with an award-winning production company.<\/p>\n
The four lucky Bay Stars will also receive a snorkel set to continue their appreciation and exploration of the Bay\u2019s incredible biodiversity.<\/p>\n
The top 10 entries will all receive a Bay Star Eco Pack.<\/p>\n
