The previous system, which ran on DOS, was written in the 1980s, served the purpose very well in its day, but was very reliant on particular individuals for set-up and entry.<\/p>\n<p>With midweek now on board, for this upcoming season, all Tennis Geelong competitions will run exclusively through League Manager, with clubs expected to enter and confirm their own results. This is currently happening in the winter competition, senior and junior.<\/p>\n<p>League Manager\/Match Centre is designed specifically for tennis and is web-based, with the premise being that it will allow for better access and more engagement for players, whilst at the same time reducing the workload on the volunteer committees that oversee the sport.<\/p>\n<p>A link to the current season can be accessed from our website tennisgeelonginc.com.au on the Match Centre tab.
