QUEENCLIFF traders and community members will share their concerns about proposed developments during a meeting with Member for Bellarine Lisa Neville tomorrow (Friday).<\/p>\n
The meeting, which will be held at Circa 1902 Queenscliff, will highlight the Destination Queenscliff project, and proposed further redevelopment in the marina and ferry precinct, which also has the capacity to impact local traders adversely.<\/p>\n
Some questions forwarded to Ms Neville will highlight \u201cfalsehoods\u201d surrounding the Queenscliffe council\u2019s Destination Queenscliff business case, market research and inappropriate investment strategy, small business struggling in the borough, community engagement and communication, and lack of empathy and understanding.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe welcome development and progressive ideas; however, not until proper financial and market analyses have been conducted to ensure our capacity to trade won\u2019t be diminished by any new council originated initiatives,\u201d Chris Dinneen from Circa 1902 Queenscliff said.<\/p>\n
