TWO kind-hearted Barwon Heads siblings are selling homemade lemonade to help raise money for farmers affected by the drought.<\/p>\n
Charles and Grace Hill have already raised an impressive $876.85 from their Lemon-Aid Our Farmers stand, which will be donated to the Buy A Bale campaign.<\/p>\n
The duo set up shop at the Barwon Grove Golf Club aka The Tin Shed on Sunday, which raised $361.45, before the Tin Shed matched their fundraising efforts to take their total to $722.90.<\/p>\n
Charles, 7, and Grace, 6, then moved their stand to APCO in Barwon Heads after school on Monday, which raised another $153.95.<\/p>\n
Charles said: \u201cWe didn’t want them to go through it by themselves. By helping the farmers, we hope to make them happy and also us\u201d.<\/p>\n
The Lemon-Aid Our Farmers stand will be at APCO every Wednesday after school from next week until the end of September, and potentially while the charity continues.<\/p>\n
Mum Jessica said she was in the process of creating a Facebook page dedicated to the kids\u2019 fundraiser, where she would update the community on where the stand would pop up next.<\/p>\n
\u201cA humble little project is getting a little exciting,\u201d Jessica said.<\/p>\n
